Why Event Trekker

One trip. A dozen apps. One timeline to end them all.

Flight emails, hotel PDFs, ticket screenshots, a notes app, a spreadsheet, the group chat. Event Trekker replaces the pile with one place - so you always know what's next.

The timeline that ends the chaos Every activity in venue time next to your own.
The Event Trekker timeline - one trip's activities on a single scrollable timeline, each shown in venue time next to your home time.

Never miss a window

Every activity shows the venue's local time next to yours - "7:30 AM JST · 4:00 AM your time" - so the timezone never trips you up.

Every ticket, on the moment

Attach each ticket, QR code and voucher to the exact activity it belongs to. No more scrolling a screenshot dump at the gate.

Everyone in sync

Invite the other families to your travel circle. One shared plan means nobody asks "what's next?" again.

AI helps, start to finish

Add an activity with a few words using Create with AI, then let Gemini write up the trip - whole trip or a single day - into Insights, Highlights and Pros. You edit; it never decides for you.

How it works

Three steps to a trip that runs itself

From the first booking to the AI recap - Event Trekker carries the whole trip.

  1. 1

    Create the trip

Start a trip and drop in your bookings - flights, trains, hotels, attractions. Every trip you've got, upcoming, in progress and past, sits in one place you can jump straight into.

Manage Events screen - all your trips in one list: upcoming, in progress and past.
  2. 2

    Bring the circle in

Invite the other families to your travel circle by email or username. Everyone sees the shared plan, with clear roles for who can edit - and packing checklists to tick off before you leave.

Travel Circles list - your circles with the families you travel with, ready to invite and share the plan.
  3. 3

Trek it, then let AI recap it

Your AI credits refill every month and stay in view. On the day, the timeline keeps time for you with a reminder before each activity; when you're home, Gemini writes the summary - for the whole trip or a single day you choose - as Insights, Highlights and Pros.

AI credits screen - remaining credits, monthly refill and recent AI activity.
Features

Everything a short trip needs - nothing it doesn't

A real trip, start to finish

Meet the Bennett family - Singapore, four days

Follow one trip through Event Trekker, slide by slide. Same story, same timeline, from the first booking to the AI recap. About a two-minute read.

Slide 1 · Before the trip

It starts as one shared timeline

Lucas creates “Singapore Trip 2026” and invites the family. He drops in the flights, the Marina Bay Sands booking and the Gardens by the Bay tickets. Everything lands on one timeline the whole circle can see.

Slide 2 · Getting ready

The whole family, in one circle

Sarah adds the Bennett family to the trip’s travel circle - five members, each with a role for who can edit. Everyone sees the same plan, so the split of who-does-what is settled long before they leave for the airport.

Slide 3 · The night before

Pack from a checklist, not from memory

The family pulls up a packing template and ticks it off together - passports and visas under Documents, chargers under Electronics, the kids' bits under Kids. Shared across the circle, so nothing's left on the kitchen table.

Slide 4 · On the day

The timeline keeps time for you

Day 1 in Singapore. The timeline shows dinner at Lau Pa Sat marked Completed, the SkyPark slot Upcoming, and each activity in SGT next to your home time. A nudge fires 30 minutes before every event - no missed windows.

Slide 5 · As you spend

Every dollar accounted for

Attraction tickets, hawker dinners, a little shopping - Lucas logs each cost in SGD as they go. Event Trekker keeps a running $5,400 total and shows what’s pending and who paid, so settling up at the end is painless.

FAQ

Questions, answered straight

Product & how it works

What is Event Trekker?

Event Trekker is one app that runs your whole short international trip - bookings, tickets, expenses and travel companions - on a single timeline that shows each activity in the venue's local time next to your own.

What problem does Event Trekker solve?

It replaces the scattered stack of email, notes, screenshots, spreadsheets and group chat with one place, so you stop losing tickets and stop missing activities at the venue.

Who is Event Trekker for?

It's for the person who plans a 3-5 day trip abroad for one, two or three families, and for the co-travellers who just need to know "what's next?"

How do I organise a family trip with Event Trekker?

Build a timeline of activities, attach each ticket or QR to its activity, set reminders, and invite the family so everyone can see and edit the same plan.

How can multiple families coordinate one trip?

Create a travel group and invite the other families by email or username. Everyone sees and edits the same timeline, and expenses can be split per family.

How do I plan a trip with AI?

Describe your trip in a sentence and AI drafts an editable timeline; applying it appends to your existing plan rather than replacing it. You review every suggestion, and AI runs only after you consent.

Time zones, tickets & offline

How does Event Trekker handle time zones in different countries?

Every activity shows the venue's local time as the main time, with your current time right beside it - so you're always working on the venue's clock, not your phone's.

How do I avoid missing activities because of time zone differences?

The timeline shows each activity in the venue's local time, and you get a reminder before each one - 30 minutes ahead by default, adjustable - so a timed entry doesn't slip past you.

What's the best way to store travel tickets and QR codes?

Attach each ticket, voucher or QR file to its own activity in Event Trekker. You can add several per activity, snap a photo, or forward a booking email to create a draft. Files are stored securely and virus-scanned.

Can Event Trekker scan QR codes?

Event Trekker stores your ticket and QR files so you can show them at the gate; it keeps them rather than scanning or generating them.

Does Event Trekker work offline at the venue?

Yes. Your timeline and tickets are cached on your phone so you can view them without a connection, and your changes sync when you're back online.

Groups, expenses & responsibilities

How does Event Trekker split expenses among a group?

Add each expense in the currency you paid, then split it equally, by weight, a fixed amount, or per family. The exchange rate is captured at purchase time, and balances show who owes whom.

How do I keep track of shared trip responsibilities?

Use per-trip to-do lists and one shared, editable timeline everyone can see, with reminders before each activity so nothing gets forgotten.

How can families avoid forgetting important tasks during a trip?

Set reminders before every activity and use ticket-collection flags that tell you when and where to pick up a pass, anchored to the venue's time zone.

AI, privacy & account

How does the AI work, and what about my privacy?

Describe your trip and AI drafts an editable timeline. Before anything is sent for processing, personal details like passport, booking and payment data are stripped from the prompt, and AI is only used after you give consent - which you can withdraw from Settings.

How do I control or delete my data?

You can withdraw consent, request erasure of your personal data, and delete your account. Deletion runs with a grace period before anything is permanently removed. See our Account & Data Deletion page for the steps.

Pricing & platforms

Is Event Trekker free?

Yes - free at launch, with no ads and no in-app purchases. All the trip features are included.

What platforms does Event Trekker run on?

Event Trekker runs on iOS, Android and the web. The app is in English at launch, and supports multiple currencies and time zones from day one.

How Event Trekker compares

How is Event Trekker different from a spreadsheet or group chat?

A spreadsheet or chat is free and familiar, but it doesn't know time zones, doesn't remind you, and buries your tickets. Event Trekker keeps one canonical timeline in the venue's local time, with each ticket attached and a reminder before every activity - and it works offline at the venue.

How does Event Trekker compare to apps that focus on planning?

Many trip tools are strong at planning and stop there. Event Trekker covers the day you're actually there too - venue-time-zone timeline, offline tickets, reminders, and group expense splitting in one app.
